Hair Accessories That We Love

Hair accessories are a must-have for every woman, not just as a way to keep our locks in place, but also as a way to make our crowning glories even more dazzling.

Here are some of the top hair accessories that we love, in no particular order!

Hair elastics

Hair elastics are small stretchable accessories that you can use to tie your hair in small sections. If you loved putting your hair in pigtails when you were younger, then you'll know just how important hair elastics are. They're also good for braided hairstyles, especially those that are plaited down your back.

Headbands / hair bands

Headbands, also known as hair bands, are the go-to hair accessory if you want to keep your hair away from your face. Plus, you can use it to subtly change what your face shapes like as well. For example, if you have a long face shape, you can also use a headband to divert the attention away from your forehead and to your pretty eyes instead!

Scrunchies

We all love a good hair scrunchie! Whether it's for putting our hair in a low ponytail just to keep it tidy, or for tying our hair up in a high ponytail when it gets too hot, scrunchies are a long-haired girl's best friend. This was a staple hair accessory in the 90's and it's pretty obvious that it's not going away anytime soon.

Hairpins

Hairpins are something you should never ever run out of at home, as so many hairstyles need hairpins to make them look tidy. Have you ever tried doing a rounded Dutch braid without hairpins? Disaster. What about a complex updo that should last all day? Without a hairpin, even your hairspray can't save this one.

Barrettes

Barrettes always look so neat and pretty – just like your own hair when it's got a barrette on it. We especially love using barrettes for half updo styles since it always manages to add an 'oomph' to our hairstyle without being too flashy.

Flower crowns

Flower crowns are the perfect way to achieve a boho look, especially if you're donning your just-got-out-of-bed look. We just love how they're so simple and yet so dreamy at the same time!
